What was the first storyline you remember watching?

I started watching in 94. At the time Denise was pregnant with Ken's child. Bet owned the pub.

I watched it on and off for a while but got really hooked starting from Steve and Karen's wedding.

The first storyline I can remember was in or around 1978 when Brian Tilsley was stabbed; although I do remember I started watching the show a bit earlier than that, but I recall this storyline as being the most explosive one that sticks in my mind. I was only in 8th grade at the time and this was pretty violent stuff for television in terms of "daytime" soaps. You have to understand that I live in the U.S. and we get Coronation, (or use to anyway), ONLY on Sunday mornings. So for a Sunday morning plot line it was pretty dicey. Now, I can watch it on the CBC early in the evening every day and reruns on Sunday.

The first storyline I remember watching was when Terry Duckworth got the next door neighbour pregnant; also Kevin, Terry, and Curly hanging around together!

I hate to say this, but I remember Ena Sharples and Elsie Tanner,Len Fairclough among others......does that make me ancient?

I started watching way back in the sixties, Annie Walker ran the Rovers and Gail and Sue worked in the blue jean store and I thought they had the best jobs in the world. Mostly I remember Hilda and Stan Ogden and the Ducks on thier wall Eddie Yates the bin man was thier lodger.

I started watching in 1972 when I went to England for a visit and ended up with a job in a pub in Newcastle Under Lyme. I got the afternoons off between two split shifts and started watching. I was back in Canada the next year. With various jobs I missed some years but have seen every episode since 1990.

I think Gail was single and living with another girl before she even met Brian.
