Hi, I'm Deborah and I'm Canada's # 1 Fan. I won the CBC contest last July looking for the # 1 Corrie fan. I've met over 65 of the actors, been on the street 4 times, love to organize Corrie get togethers and meet other fans.

Looking forward to meeting other fans.

My name is anji aka Posh Moggy.

I started the Coronation Street (Canada) Facebook fan page but I just kind of let it do its thing. It has a life of its own and can be difficult to moderate.

Anyhow, I had this wonderful domain name (CorrieAddict.com) and decided to put it to good use! Hopefully lots of people will join and start chatting.

One main rule: No spoilers (ggrrrrr)
One basic requirement: A love of Coronation Street!

Hi I am Dianne, and I am envious of Deborah!
Been watching Corrie since I can't remember, and I want to want to continue to watch it until I can't remember!
I love the storylines, and the intertwining of each little incident that occurs, and how it fits into the bigger picture months and years later.

Hey Everybody! I'm Valerie from Detroit, Michigan. Apparently I'm the only Yank on this site. :) I have been watching Corrie since I was in the 7th grade around 1977 if I can recall correctly. I moved to Seattle, Washington in 1982 and could not get Corrie there so I had a girlfriend of mine send me tapes of the show every month. I then lived in Boston and the first thing I did was find a channel I could watch Corrie on! I'm kind of a fan I guess. I have since moved back to Michigan so I have no problem watching it now except that it's always months and months behind Great Britain! :( But I am used to that by now I guess after all these years! Can anyone tell me where Granada Studios is located in Canada and how to get info about visiting there when there is a meet and greet with the cast members? Does that happen often?

Hi I'm Liz.. grew up in England and watched Corrie from the first episode. In Canada over 40 years and still a fan. The best thing I ever did, was to buy myself a PVR so I can record every episode and not have to worry about missing any.

My name is Barb and I live in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. I first remember Corrie when my family lived in England for a couple of years in the 60's and took up really watching it 26 years ago when my husband and I moved to Antigonish. What I really enjoy lately is watching Corrie online, not having to worry about missing an episode or preempting my life to watch it.

    Hi,
I also live in the Detroit, MI area. I have been watching Coronation Street for years now. I watch it on CBC out of Windsor, Ontario.

I went to Toronto once to a British Show and there were Coronation Street actors there...I can't remember his name right now...he was Audrey's husband (Alf?)

    Hi!
I actually started watching the Street about 12 or 13 yrs ago - mainly because I needed a reason to get up early on Sunday mornings!! When I slept in too late (because of being up late on Saturday nights) I would then have a hard time falling asleep at a decent hour on Sunday night and then be very tired Monday morning - not a great start to the work week! So, I started watching Corrie and have been a die hard fan ever since!
I live just outside of Hamilton, Ontario.
I now like to watch it in the evenings (on from 6:30 to 7:00 pm) - or at least tape it and watch it later in the evening!

Well, I am 62 years old with 4 children and 8 grandkids. My kids grew up watching the Street with me and actually for a time got hooked. Alas, other interests took over for them but it was fun to have tea and sit together...good memories. Anyway, first saw it when I was 17 and so over the years seen a lot come and go...it never loses it's appeal for me. I live in a rural area and there sure isn't much to do entertainment wise so
The Street" offers me a fun way out. Anyway, so happy to find this blog....keep posting everyone...Fern

Wow! how amazing it is reading everyone's bios and where they are from! I read Fern's and I find it amazing that some of us have literally watched Corrie throughout our entire lives! Through school, marriages, moving from state to state and country to country, births, deaths, and not just those changes on Corrie but in our own lives! Amazing what an impact one show can have.

My name is Jan and I live in Woodstock Ontario and my husband and I have been watching regularly since about 1998. Thought it was interesting that a lot of Corrie watchers at my work were "in the closet" especially the men. But then I found out how many people really do watch it. I remember watching the odd episode when it would be on Sunday mornings years and years ago but never really started til '98. Used to watch the American soaps, but got tired of the supernatural goings on and the spies etc etc and wanted some real people, which is why I love Corrie so much.
